Terms of Service
Effective June 11, 2026
These terms govern your use of Athena at athena.fm. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use Athena.
What Athena is
Athena is a personal assistant for execution: it captures your notes, voice check-ins, and forwarded emails, organizes them into promises, follow-ups, reminders, and answers questions over your own history. Parts of the service use artificial intelligence. AI-generated content can be wrong or incomplete — extracted items, summaries, dates, and answers should be verified before you rely on them for anything important. Athena is not legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice.
Your account
You must provide accurate information and keep access to your account secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be legally able to enter into this agreement to use the service.
Your content
Everything you capture stays yours. You grant us only the limited license needed to operate the service: storing, processing, transcribing, organizing, and displaying your content back to you, including through the service providers listed in our Privacy Policy. We never sell your content or use it for advertising. You are responsible for having the right to capture the content you bring into Athena (for example, consent where recording conversations requires it in your jurisdiction).
Acceptable use
Do not use Athena to break the law, infringe others' rights, probe or disrupt the service, attempt to access other users' data, or send abuse through capture or email features. We may suspend accounts that do.
Subscriptions and billing
Athena offers a free plan with usage limits and paid plans billed through Stripe. Paid plans renew automatically until cancelled; you can cancel anytime from Settings → Billing, effective at the end of the current billing period. Plan limits and prices may change with notice; changes apply from your next billing period.
Connected services
Optional integrations (such as Google Calendar) work under their own provider terms. You can disconnect them at any time from Settings → Connections, which deletes and revokes stored credentials.
Availability and disclaimers
Athena is provided "as is" and "as available." We work hard on reliability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service or that the service will be error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, and our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
Termination
You can stop using Athena and request deletion of your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practicable. On termination, the Privacy Policy's deletion commitments apply.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms; significant changes will be noted here with a new effective date and communicated by email. Continued use after changes means acceptance. Questions: jamshid@rapiditeration.com.
